Lessons:

Mary's Method custom fits music lessons to the needs of each student. We all learn differently. An excellent teacher will know how to best approach a students needs to create a successful environment. Mary's Method offers beginning students an exceptional introduction into music unlike any method on the market today. Continuing students have many different needs ranging from student teacher trust, praise and enjoyment to applied theory to improvisation. Mary's Method custom programs is designed to explain numerous problem solving skills, provide an atmosphere of confidence and instill a sense of security which paves the way for the release of artistic interpretation.

All lesson programs and prices are based on a month of four (4) thirty minute lessons, usually one per week. Lessons may be longer than 30 minutes and prices shall reflect the change. Lessons are scheduled at the same time each week. Variations for students with changing schedules may be arranged. All lessons include program materials.

Mary offers the following options:

• Month One or Crash course...... 4 weeks...... private. Price: $100.
  he crash course will be designed to fit the needs of the student. No instrument is necessary for those who want to play but are not sure which instrument they will settle on. For those who already play, you can get the skills you need to play at a new level.
• Two Month...... private. Price $200.
  A great course for those with a busy schedule. Stuck? Try an 8 week course customized to get your questions answered, your style enhanced, and your imagination stimulated.
• Ongoing private..... Price $100/month.
  Learning music and learning to play an instrument go hand in hand, but they are not the same. Playing requires the techniques that learning does not require. In order to play an instrument, a step by step program designed to progress the student's pace, skill level, comprehension and enjoyment is the best option.
• Group..... usually 2 or 3 per group. Price: to be arranged case by case, but usually $65 per student per month.
  Fun for beginners or for music as a more social activity. For friends trying to come together musically, instruction may include how to best learn together as a group. Various instruments may be included for group classes. Customize your own group with friends and neighbors or join a group. Lessons may be all the same instrument or different instruments. This is ideal for Parents and children to learn together. Home school groups encouraged and welcome.
• Specialized Instruction.....Price: to be arranged.
  Mary can make arrangements for instruction outside the normal boundaries outlined above. This includes students with special needs such as ADD and ADHD students.
• Band Tuning, consultation with music teachers, home teaching materials , and other consulting services are available.
